Accommodation
You will need to make your own arrangements to book accommodation in London. Please be aware that reasonably-priced accommodation in Central London is scarce and fills up quickly in Spring so we recommend that you make provisional bookings as soon as you can.
Hotels
There are a number of hotels close to Chandler House (both small private hotels, and from chains such as Premier Inn and Travelodge). We suggest that you also check booking sites such as www.booking.com or www.hotels.com.
If on a tight budget, it is worth considering staying further away from the immediate vicinity of Bloomsbury. For example, hotels close to the Piccadilly line in North London (e.g. Travelodge Finsbury Park) give very quick access to Russell Square Station, which is very close to the workshop venue.
Alternative accommodation
UNIVERSITY RESIDENCES
There is very limited accommodation available at university residences on the dates of the workshop but you can check www.universityrooms.com.
AIRBNB
There are also a number of Airbnb properties in areas close to Chandler House (e.g. Kings Cross, Euston) or within an easy bus commute (e.g. Angel/Islington, Camden Town, Highbury) that may be cheaper than local hotel rooms.
HOSTELS
Private rooms may be available at the YHA London St Pancras which is 5 minutes walk away from Chandler House.
There are a number of other hostels in Bloomsbury near Chandler House that offer private room as well as dormitories, although they mostly cater for large groups. See http://www.hostelworld.com/ for further information.
